1997 BMW 7 Series
Project / repairs needed

1997 BMW 7 Series

1997 BMW E38 735i – £3,000 ONO For sale is my October 1997 BMW 735i E38, a great example of BMW’s flagship 7 Series and an increasingly uncommon sight on UK roads. The car has covered 147,000 miles and has had a considerable amount of work carried out during my ownership, including: • Full service • Alternator rebuilt • New starter motor • Welding carried out to the arches and sills • New rear ABS sensors • New battery Key Features: • Double-glazed windows • 2 keys • Electric rear blind – fully working • Manual blinds for both rear side windows • Original classic cassette player • Radio fully working • Original ashtrays • V5 present and in my name Known Issues: • Alarm currently disabled • Air con top up needed • The car goes into Trans Failsafe Mode when attempting to drive. This is believed to potentially be a gearbox/A-drum issue, although this has not been confirmed. The asking price reflects this. Being a 1997 E38 735i, this would make an excellent project for a BMW enthusiast or someone looking

Saab 9000 Aero - Manual
Drive it away

1998 Saab 9000 Aero - Manual

Due to a change in health I'm regretfully selling my 9000. I bought it in March, have spent several thousand pounds on it because I'm meticulous about cars and I expected to keep it, but here we are. My loss can be your gain! It is in generally excellent condition, as the photos suggest. The interior has a pleasant patina commensurate with the age, but no issues. The exterior is in very good condition with just some scuffs to the bumpers to note, personally I consider this part of the usable charm of the car, no stress parking it in the real world. A few stone chips on the bonnet, otherwise the paintwork looks fantastic with lots of positive comments at shows etc. It has a full hydrophobic coating currently, and the glass is all original. Elephants in the room: it has done 253,000 miles. However the first 200,000 of these were done in its first 10 years of life while it was maintained twice a year at its local Saab dealer. Every invoice from this period is present showing the level of maintenance. It also had a colossal amount of work done around 3 years and 5,000 miles ago including an engine top end rebuild, turbo rebuild, and various bits of welding underneath. Full details and photos available on request. In short I can assure you the condition belies that mileage figure, and again to me that adds to the charm! The last MOT was also a challenging affair. I think the tester was having a bad day. The "corroded rear subframe" was particularly harsh, given these cars don't have a rear subframe..! He was referring to the rear axle beam, a 3 inch thick piece of solid steel that ain't going anywhere. Nonetheless I've had the whole area wire brushed to remove surface corrosion and under sealed, again photos available on request and you can of course come and look yourself. This is not a corroded car. Everything else listed I've had fixed, invoices available on request. So, onto the usual ad list! - 4 matching pirelli cinturato tyres with plenty of tread - discs and pads unremarkable - leaking not a drop of oil or coolant, invoices to prove recent leaks all fixed (at great expense!) - absolutely no rust in any of the usual places, arches are immaculate - delightfully smooth engine and gearbox which has had some improvements, details available on request - headlining is perfect - no water ingress anywhere (I check!) - STACKS of paperwork all organised in chronological order by me across 2 big folders. I'm talking hundreds of invoices, service history, details of every keeper since new with contact details and how long they owned it, original book pack, period correct advertising literature, photos of restoration, a copy of the Saab Vs blog it was featured in, the documentary provenance of this car is truly exceptional even for a Saab. Took me hours to gather and organise it all. Points to note - The AC has worked recently, but doesn't currently. I have an invoice for a recent pressure test and regas that it passed, but within about a month it wasn't working again, so an annoying leak somewhere. Equipment itself is all working fine though - the central locking is click-clackety but functions fine. I'm assured this is not an urgent issue - there are bits and bats to sort, like the drivers seatbelt buckle is cracked, minor things like that Overall I'd describe this as a "top end of usable" car. At shows it looks like a concours car at first glance, you don't see many saabs looking as good as this. Up close you realise it's actually being used, what with the mileage etc, which makes it truly remarkable. There are bits to sort being a 28 year old car, but it is not a project. It is a good to go modern classic that you can use and enjoy straight away. Hundreds of photos available on request, any and all questions answered. Looking for offers in the region of £5500. I also have a genuine Saab red top DI Cassette in the boot, unused, available for £150 separately or included for offers at 5500 or higher. "First with funds" gets the car, simple as that.

2003 BMW 525D Touring (E39)

2003 BMW 525d Touring (E39) 139,000 miles MOT until April 2027 (more photos to follow and there's a full video coming to the channel) 6 owners and has recently come from long term ownership. Light Blue Metallic with Black Leather Automatic Heated Seats Air Con The car has all its relevant book packs and documents, with stamped service history up to 2017. It’s clearly been well looked after despite not much recent history, although the service light shows it’s not due a service - so it must’ve been serviced sometime?! I’ll do an oil change for the new owner. Has some rust and some damage down the drivers side but drives very well indeed. Currently it’s down in Tunbridge Wells “Hey Geoff, wasn’t this for sale on here in Middlesborough?!“ Yes, it was, I swapped the big Audi A8 V8 Tdi for it. I’ve no problem if this car hangs around for a while, it’s a useful and comfortable cruiser.

Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD Limited XS 2006 Stow & Go
Drive it away

2006 Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD Limited XS 2006 Stow & Go

Price: £2,350, 105,500 miles, long MOT to 31st August 2027, 2 Keys, 2 previous owners, 17 service stamps, cambelt and water pump Aug 2022 at 96,379 miles, and has done less that 9,000 miles since. Recent new battery, Owners manual. Work completed over the last 4 years include front and rear discs and brakes, new alternator, front wishbone and rear callipers. This is a top-spec Chrysler Grand Voyager Limited XS. This is an amazing 7 seater family cruiser or versatile work horse, featuring the highly desirable Stow 'n Go seating system where all rear seats fold completely flat into the floor. There is also a factory fitted locking security drawer. Top-specification Includes • Full grey leather interior with heated, electrically adjustable front seats • Power-operated electric sliding side doors and electric tailgate • Rear overhead DVD entertainment screen • Tri-zone climate control/air conditioning • Rear parking sensors and cruise control Condition & Honesty bit The interior is very clean and tidy. Mechanically, the car drives beautifully, pulling strongly through the automatic gearbox. The engine is smooth and reliable. To save everyone's time, I have priced the car realistically to reflect its known issues: There is a dent and a scrape running down the driver's side door, the front passenger window mechanism is currently not working, the offside door has its moments occasionally when opening/closing, but this can be operated manually and some of the head lining is beginning to sag. Aside from these points, it is an incredibly practical, reliable, comfortable and spacious vehicle with a brilliant service history. What it lacks in looks, it makes up for mechanically.

1998 rover 820 si. 59000 miles from new. MOT until April 2027. Extensive history file. A/C has a leak ( not investigated since i had it gassed and it lasted about 2 weeks) Paintwork is suffering from the lacquer scratch effect that certain rover colours seem to do over the years mainly roof and bonnet, cleans up very well regardless. Been a fantastic daily driver for me. Im in no rush to sell. May consider a px. Jump in and drive it away without issue.

Got a car to sell?

I need three things: a photo, a price, and a location. That's it.* Nothing over £10,000.

*Well, that was the original plan. But Laura insisted we add a few more details to keep things above board. So now there's make, model, year, mileage… you get the idea.
