1992 Citroen XM
Up for sale is my 1992 Citroën XM. I bought this earlier on in the year with plans to waft to and from work and aura farm at Citroën meets. However, I need to thin my collection of cars as unfortunately my circumstances have changed rather drastically. The car starts, runs, selects all gears and drives. Manual. However, it needs some work: Engine runs healthfully however it will need a new aux belt tensioner. Supplied with a new water pump and timing belt kit which will want doing. Suspension rises and falls, power steering works, however it will need a new accumulator sphere. Water leak, suspected from the thermostat housing, new one supplied. Tailgate is sometimes hard to open, central locking is temperamental (shocker). Various exterior trim missing. Bodywork needs welding to passenger side scuttle, sill end (repair piece supplied) and bumper mounts. Bodywork needs small holes rectified in both sills, nothing terminal. Small chip on windscreen. It's a good base for a workable project. The 2.1 diesels in manual are becoming pretty sought after. Comes with the wheel arch liners, wheel trims and a crate of miscellaneous spares including a repair piece for the sill end. It is the 2.1 diesel model with a older style Lucas 'Rotodiesel' pump instead of the miserable EPIC pump. This is a project car, sold as seen. Selling my dads Ds3 Racing it is a Future Classic Hot Hatch. Citroen DS3 Racing 2011. The car is rare, only approx 100 road registered uk cars. The Citroën DS3 Racing produces 207 bhp from its 1.6-litre THP turbocharged petrol engine. This tuned, limited-edition hot hatch delivers 203 lb-ft of torque and achieves a 0-62 mph time of 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 146, car was developed by Citroen rally team has wider track than standard DS3, lots of carbon bits and brembo brakes. This car has covered 105000 miles and the maintenance book has a full set of stamps. Have just had a service and and expensive work completed, Timing chain, guides, tensioner and sprockets renewed, plus other necessary work done. Air bag replaced due to recall. Body work not perfect with light keying along drivers side. 1 key. Only selling as not using the car at present and it needs to be driven. 5 former keepers. Additional work done recently. Replaced vacuum pump, high pressure fuel pump, spark plugs and auxillery belt. Diagnostic check, configured pump and all faults cleared. Just had mot done 07.10.27 had 500 spent on bits for mot.
