1999 MG MGF 1.8

This car was put into storage in 2017 at around 91000 miles and put back on the road in June this year.Owned by previous owner for 11 years. 1999 MGF 1800, 92000 miles, MOT till 25/06/2027 with only 2 advisories windscreen chipped and front indicator slightly discoloured.Pretty much full service history with services completed at the following mileages 2710, 9438, 20498, 35309, 46507, 56305, 65750, 78273, 89597, and the service at 90180 carried out in July 2016 which is the one that finally fills up the service book.Car was put into storage in August 2017.There were a further 4 services carried out while the car was in storage in January 2019, September 2021, September 2024 & June 2026.The gead gasket was replaced at 89597 miles, a new 3 piece clutch fitted in January 2019, a new catalytic converter and a new alternator fitted in June 2026. Roof and rear window undamaged with mechanism operating smoothly.Black & green leather interior. Comes with 2 keys.Engine starts on the button.Steering is nice and tight and very direct.Lovely gear change mechanism feels nice & smooth and crisp.Plenty life left in tyres.Alloys in nice condition.Paintwork pretty nice considering it's 27 years old.Really nice to drive and at its best on smooth roads but like most older convertibles you feel the scuttle shake on bumpier surfaces. Electric windows work.Manual interior adjusters for mirrors. If you want an MGF then this should be a good choice based on condition, service history and all the parts that have been replaced in the last 3000 miles or so. I have more photos of car and photos of service history i can send to anyone interested. Open to swaps for motorbike or diesel that runs on vegetable oil ideally but anything considered.
