1991 Volvo 240 Turbo

I've owned this car since 2014, its got a turbo engine in it from a 940 and an M47 5 speed gearbox, its been very reliable. I used it daily for around 9 years but it went into storage in 2023 as I got a van for work. The overall body condition is fair, lots of character, scuffs and scars. Generally solid. I've recently repaired some small areas of rust in the floors and bulkhead (butt welded not plated over) and its also just had the drivers side rear quarter and sill repaired. Interior is ok, its got an alfa drivers seat and a 940 passenger seat, both kind of worn. I've messed up the speakers, but i've got some factory speakers and covers to go with it, no stereo fitted. speedo is intermittent. Mechanically is pretty good. Its got a diesel clutch, the diff is noisy which I think is the pinion bearing. Suspension is as follows 40mm lowering springs Bilstein B4 shocks Polybushes all round (superpro or powerflex, can't remember but not cheap shit) Martin leaf (Viking Fabrication) adjustable torque rods and Panhard rod (poly and rose joint) Wheels are Mondeo wheels banded to 8.5" with 215 profile Uniroyals with plently of tread. Engine is on stock internals and 13c turbo, intercooler is from an Iveco eurocarco (huge), Thelostartof chips, 2.5" exhaust. Manual boost controller, engine boosts to 18psi. It goes like a scalded cat and handles very well. I've loved this car and always had Volvos but its not getting used now and I've got too many other projects, so, reluctantly have decided its time to move it on I think. If you want a genuine Turbobrick that has all the basics covered but want to put your mark on it then this could be the car for you, thinking about it there are a few little jobs that need addressing but nothing too major.
